It is supposed to depict St. Nicholas of Myra, the real &#8220;Santa Claus,&#8221; who was a 4th-century bishop renowned for his generosity, miracles, and deep compassion for the poor and vulnerable. Known for secret gift-giving, such as placing coins in the shoes of those in need, St. Nicholas became a symbol of kindness and charity.
